The house is finally dry!

October 14, 2013

I have been neglecting this blog because the changes don't show much day to day as most of the work is going on inside and I don't think anyone is much interested in a bunch of wires or pipes.  Now the SuperSky skylight is up and much of the infrastructure landscaping is done so there is something to show.
Entry view from what will be the pedestrian path to the patio and primary entrance

View into the living room from what used to be a thick patch of small pine trees.

View out the living room window from the kitchen

View down the deck.  The railings were put up for the ARDF event that took place at Gray Owl

View looking uphill back at the living room and lower level

Downhill view toward the dog agility area with the solar panels in the distance.

Same vantage point as the previous picture.

Swinging off the roof beam.  But this will be a problem when the glass is in place.  You can see the rope in the previous picture.
The SuperSky frame is up.  Viewed from the Roof Walk

Putting one of the glass panels in place.  It weighs about 300 lbs.
